Jillian Noel Hennessy

Jillian Noel Hennessy is a Canadian actor and singer from Canada. Her roles on American television shows Law & Order were three-seasons long. Crossing Jordan lasted six seasons. Jordan Cavanaugh was her leading character. She was also a part of films like RoboCop 3 & Most Wanted and independent films Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. The movie was written and directed by her. Hennessy was a native of Edmonton, Alberta. Her father, John Hennessy, was a meat salesman and sales/marketing executive. It was a job that required extensive travel and led to frequent relocations for the family. Maxine, Maxine's mother died in 1982. She left her daughter under the care of Eleanor Her paternal grandmother. John Paul Hennessy Jr., her younger brother, is Jacqueline Hennessy who is an identical twin who is a journalist in a magazine and TV host in Canada. Hennessy is of Irish, French, Swedish and Italian ancestry from her father's side and mainly Ukrainian Roma, as well as Austrian and Austrian ancestry from her mother's. She graduated from Grand River Collegiate Institute and Stanley Park Senior Public School. Hennessy as well as her sibling made their acting debut as twin call girls in 1988's Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, Gillian Anderson's sister, stated that she was shortlisted in The X-Files for Dana Scully's role. Hennessy also played the character of Dr. Marie Lazarus on RoboCop 3. In 1993 Dick Wolf signed Hennessy to the role as Claire Kincaid assistant district attorney on Law & Order. The show ran for three seasons. She left the show in 1996.
