Rosario Isabel Dawson was born May 9, 1979. She is an American actress, producer , and director. In 1995, she made her feature film debut by starring in the independent film Kids. Her roles in the following films include He Got Game (1998) and Josie and the Pussycats (2002). Dawson has also done voice-over work for Disney/Marvel, Warner Bros./DC Comics, and ViacomCBS's Nickelodeon unit.For her role in Rent, Dawson won the Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actress - Motion Picture; for her part in Top Five, she was nominated for the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best actor in a Comedy. Dawson was born on May 9, 1979, in New York City. Isabel Celeste, her mother, is Afro-Cuban. Isabel was 16 years old when Rosario was born. Isabel did not marry Rosario's father, Patrick C. Harris. When Rosario was one year old, her mother got married to Greg Dawson, a construction worker. Dawson is four years younger than Clay. Clay is Dawson's half-brother. Dawson is also well-known for her roles in comic book adaptations. They include Gail Sin City (2005), Sin City (2005), Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014), Claire Temple (2015-2018) and Diana Prince/Wonder Woman on the DC Animated Movie Universe. She also voices Barbara Gordon/Batgirl for The Lego Batman Movie. In 2020, she was the voice of Ahsoka Tano in the second season of The Mandalorian, and is scheduled to appear in the new Disney+ original series Ahsoka. In addition, she will be appearing in Young Rock, an autobiographical comedy show created directed by Dwayne John in 2021.
