Aaron Jeffery
The Logie
Award-winning New Zealand actor Aaron C. Jeffery is from Australia. He is
well-known for his parts in Water Rats as Terry Watson, Alex Ryan and Matt
Fletcher as Matt Fletcher and Alex Ryan, both from McLeod's Daughters. He was
born in Howick, Auckland, Jeffery was able to move to Australia at the age of
17 and began studying acting at NIDA. He graduated from NIDA in 1993 and began
his television career with children's television show Ship to Shore. Jeffery is
well-known for his part in McLeod's Daughters as Alex Ryan. He left the show in
2008. He also appeared in the third season of Outrageous Fortune, a New Zealand
drama. Jeffery was also seen as Frank in Underbelly: Badness. The production
was concluded on the 22nd of June. Three days later it was revealed that
Jeffery had joined the cast of Neighbours as Bradley Fox for two months. It was
revealed that Jeffery had been assigned the role of Corrections Officer on
Wentworth in October. He also appeared in the Bevan Lee series Between Two
Worlds for the Seven Network. In April 2021, it was announced that Jeffery was
to be cast in the upcoming Netflix thriller Pieces of Her, which is based on
the Karin Slaughter novel of the same title. In 2004 and 2007, Jeffery won the
Silver Logie for the Most Popular actor in a Drama Series for his performance
on McLeod's Daughters.
